Khulu Fine Wine recently had the pleasure of participating in one of South Africa’s premier wine events, Standard Bank WineX 2023. Held from October 25-27 at the prestigious Sandton Convention Center, this annual showcase brought together over 150 exhibitors and up to 10,000 wine enthusiasts from across the country.
As proud exhibitors, we had the opportunity to present our entire range of exceptional wines to a discerning audience. Our lineup included the sparkling Izigidi Cap Classique, the elegant Inala Bordeaux Style Blend, the bold Dumakude Shiraz, and the robust Umqhele Cabernet Sauvignon. The response from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many unable to get enough of our carefully crafted offerings.
The energy at WineX 2023 was electric, creating a vibrant atmosphere that perfectly complemented the spirit of discovery and appreciation for fine wines. One of the most memorable moments occurred on Friday night, on the eve of the Rugby World Cup Final. The crowd spontaneously joined together in singing the National Anthem, showcasing the true spirit of South African unity and pride.
A highlight for Khulu Fine Wine was when our own Kwanele was interviewed by a local TV show, providing an excellent opportunity to share our story and passion for winemaking with a broader audience.
Participating in Standard Bank WineX aligns perfectly with our brand values and mission.
